Courtney Harrison, MPA Director Policy and Program Development As an accomplished writer, analytical thinker and strategic planner, Courtney Harrison has helped Public Strategies (PSI) to become a leader in marriage initiative programs. Courtney brings a focus on public policy to PSI as well as extensive experience in research on domestic violence issues, protocols and services for low-income families and implementation of marriage initiative programs. As manager of PSI’s Denver office, she currently works to build on the successful practices of the Oklahoma Marriage Initiative (OMI) through technical assistance and training of other programs across the country. She provides oversight to PSI’s national healthy marriage programs, including the National Healthy Marriage Resource Center, Supporting Healthy Marriage and the Hispanic Healthy Marriage Initiative. Courtney also serves as the project lead for PSI’s technical assistance contract with the State of Texas’ Strengthening Families Initiative.
Prior to joining the team at PSI, Courtney served as a Policy Specialist with the National Conference of State Legislatures. She received both her Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs and a Master of Public Affairs, Policy Analysis and Comparative & International Affairs from Indiana University.
